Лучшие задания для практики пассивного залога


Passive voice - тема, которую студенты, как правило, не очень любят, особенно поначалу. На это есть две причины. Первая - несмотря на одинаковую и логичную структуру построения предложений в passive voice, большое количество времен в английском усложняет задачу и заставляет многих путаться в том, как именно должна выглядеть пассивная конструкция в каждом времени. Вторая - поскольку в русском языке страдательный залог используется реже, чем в английском, то, соответственно, большинству учеников кажется, что и в английском он не очень-то и нужен. И если со второй причиной легко разобраться с помощью убедительных объяснений, то в случае с первой поможет только регулярная, интенсивная практика. И чтобы сэкономить немного вашего времени, мы сделали подборку нескольких эффективных упражнения на отработку passive voice.


1. Write questions using the passive. Some are present and some are past.

  • Ask about tea. (how / grow?)

  • Ask about radio. (when / invent?)

  • Ask about mountains. (how / form?)

  • Ask about antibiotics. (when / discover?)

  • Ask about copper. (what / use for?)


2. Rewrite these sentences. Instead of using somebody, they, people etc.,write a passive sentence.

  • Somebody washes the floor every day.

  • They cancelled all flights because of heavy snow.

  • People don’t light this road.

  • Somebody accused Tom of lying.

  • How do they learn driving?

  • People warned us about this issue.


3. What is the meaning of these words? Use it can ... or it can't .... and a dictionary if necessary.

4. Make sentences from the words in brackets. Sometimes the verb is active, sometimes passive.

  • My pen has disappeared. (somebody / take)

  • A firend of mine disappeared a week ago. (he / not / see / since then)

5. Write these sentences in another way, beginning in the way shown.

6. Complete the sentences using being + the following verbs (in the correct form):
